~ Revelation ~

<sub>The way the rising sun ricocheted off the splattering of dew drops compelled them take on a strange, crimson hue. As the condensation mounted up, a single translucent drop of purity formed at the very tip of a blade of grass, glowing very briefly before cascading down into the earth. Wispy tendrils of the leftover mist began to dissolve, leaving only a small tickle of a memory in its wake.
But as the fog lifted, a new sensation began to develop; a realization that the scenery that lay before your eyes was morbidly delusional. Suddenly, the dew looked like an explosion of blood. The grass wasn’t grass anymore; instead, it had become rows and rows of wickedly sharp knives. The remaining fog was suffocating, and the air was bitterly cold.
The once breathtaking scene had become the heart of a battle field. Bodies littered the bloodstained ground, bringing the sickly sweet scent of death into the atmosphere. In the distance, a figure stood in a river of blood.
It has been done
Her obsidian markings glowed and her blue eyes flashed with a terrible grief. Lowering her head, she nudged the struggling figure below her with her muzzle.
“I’m so sorry...,” she cried, “…so sorry… so… sorry…”
The last word she said had faded to a whisper so light it was barely audible. However, it had its desired effect; the struggling horse lay still for a moment then painfully raised its bloody head. Its eyes had hardened into cold determination, and as he spoke, his voice shook with silent fury.
“Your pitiful apology means nothing to me. My herd had always been loyal to you, Adrienne.” After taking a deep, racking breath, he continued. “But look around and see what you have done. You have slaughtered the ones that were once the closest to you, and now… now you have nothing.”
With a sudden, hoarse gasp, his eyes rolled to the back of his head. He convulsed for a brief moment, and then his head dropped into the murky crimson depths of a long awaited rest.

Okay, so I'm working on my stinkin laptop again, and when I went onto my desktop PC, I saw that this image is insanely orangey red. On my laptop, its kind of a more blueish muted tone. So ugh... I don't know what I should do. This is making me so frustrated....
